Hathaway academy is looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join their dedicated cover team who can contribute towards providing a safe, welcoming and purposeful environment for their students.
Cover supervisors are suitably trained academy staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are absent. You will lead each lesson following the cover work provided by the class teacher, managing the behaviour of the students in the class and ensuring they are able to follow the work set. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate others.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a teacher, teaching assistant, tutor or childcare based role is essential
- Must have proof of right to work for the UK
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
- Must be able to provide professional references to cover the last 2 years
